A Whole Lot Of Nothing...

I keep waiting to do something fantastic and amazing and take beautiful pictures and then post it to the blog.  Well, that's not happening, so here's a quick update.

Sophie started Pre-Kindergarten and loves it.  The school is using a British curriculum, which I know is different than an American curriculum, but I'm not sure in what respects they differ.  She has already made one friend, which allowed me to make friends with Sophie's friend's mom (clear as mud right?).

It's been difficult for me to get the myself and the kids up, dressed, lunch made, and out the door in time for Sophie's school.  It probably doesn't help that most of the other moms at Sophie's school come dressed to the nines and I'm just happy if I managed to take a shower.

I've taken the kids to a couple playgroups, which is nice to get out and about.  This is from a huge park located on a bridge, I know, crazy.  They have restaurants, a coffee shop, a little boating area.  It's massive... Max spent a good portion of our time there trying to get into the Baskin Robbins shop, which happened to be closed.

Dave and I went to an awesome Indian restaurant, The Copper Chimney, which is really close to our new villa.  The food was great and it was nice to have a relaxing dinner out with Dave.

Max loves to drive his truck around the house.  He tells me it's his "favorite truck".

I want this camel.  It's papier-mâché and hand painted with 24k gold.  It's also almost $500, which is down from the $750 first quoted to me.  Dave doesn't want me to get it (although I think that's just so he can surprise me with it), so I look at the picture every day and imagine where in the house I could put it.  I love it...

Hopefully we'll do something amazing soon! Stay tuned.
