School's Out!

I can't believe June is halfway over.  Sophie finished her first year in Elementary School with great grades and glowing remarks from her lovely kindergarten teacher.  Dave turned 38, we celebrated Father's Day, and the kids wrapped up their swim lessons for the spring.

We'll be heading to Texas and Tennessee soon for a short vacation!  We can't wait to see everyone!

Happy Birthday to the most amazing man, husband, and father I know.

Miss Mary turned four months and had almost doubled her birth weight, that's right folks, she's 14 pounds!

May 2014

I keep saying how bad I am at blogging, but really I'm mostly unpredictable (just like in real life).  We've been busy, which really, not surprising with three little ones.  Mary is a great baby, generally happy and sleep through the night (well she wakes up at 4am every morning and I put her pacifier back in her mouth and she sleeps until around 6).  Max is back at home with Mary and me every day.  He likes to make Mary laugh by making silly noises and singing her lullaby's.  Sophie is almost done with kindergarten and is a really good reader and is also great at math (she must get that from her dad).  Dave is still working long hours and we're getting ready for a summer trip back to the US.  Here's our month in photos!
Miss Sophie just finished her 1st year of Girl Scouts.  What a cute (and serious) little Daisy!

We're so proud of her hard work.

She is completely a daddy's girl

I love my babies (even if Max won't let me call him baby)

He was mad because Sophie wouldn't let him hold Mary.

Putting them to work.

Making pizza and choking her brother.  Sophie's great at multi-tasking.

Dave and the kids got me a beautiful Bahraini pearl necklace for Mother's Day.  I love it, now only if Mary would stop grabbing it whenever I put it on.  At least she has great taste.

Tummy time

Dinner at the Brit Club

She can even escape from a Swaddle Me... little stinker.

Swim lessons started up again and Sophie is doing amazing!

Max is less interested in swimming and more interested in clowning around with his pals on the stairs of the pool

Love her little face!

And finally... it's getting HOT

Thanks for hanging out for our update!  Hopefully I won't wait so long next time to post!

Welcome to the World Mary!

We are the proud parents of our third sweet baby!  We would like to introduce you all to Mary Elise Edgerton who was born at 9:46 am on February 12th.  She weighed 7 pounds 6 ounces and is 19 inches long.

She is the sweetest baby and has already slept through the night once.  Sophia and Max positively dote on her and are constantly asking to hold her!  We are so blessed!  Enjoy some photos of our new addition!
This was the last photo I took before I had Mary.  I was 40 weeks and 1 day in this photo.  She was born a day and a half later.

2014 Bahrain Air Show

Dave and I were invited to the Bahrain Air Show this weekend by Batelco (a local internet/phone group).  You all might remember that the same people invited us to the Formula 1 races in April.  Once again it was a blast and they took such great care of us (especially this pregnant mama)!

The aerial show was awesome and we were able to tour several of the aircraft.  Enjoy the photos!

Enjoying the luxury of one of Gulf Air's private jets.  If anyone has an extra 70$ Million lying around and wants to buy me a birthday gift... this airplane is for sale!

Dave enjoyed himself as well.

These guys were amazing!

Dave was slightly more interested in work emails... no rest for the wicked.

I know it's sappy, but I love this guy!

A friend of ours was the pilot for DHL; the guys were super impressed with what the huge jet could do.

The First Class Bar on Emirates A380!

One of the first class seats on the Emirates A380. One of these seats is about $8000.  It might be worth it, they were seriously comfy.
We had a great day!
