Another week of nothing...

Well not nothing precisely...  The kids and I are finally settling into a good routine with school and playgroups.  Max and I attend one or two playgroups a week while Sophie is at school.  Sophie started an after-school art program once a week (which she loves) and leaves her exhausted.

Completely sacked out after school and some iPad time.

Dave and I attended a party and rug flop a couple weeks ago.  A rug flop is basically a Tupperware party for rugs.  A local rug store owner came to the party and brought a bunch of his merchandise.  I pulled five rugs to look at and we ended up buying two Kashmiri rugs.
Three of the rugs I was considering.

The first rug we bought.  It's about 7 x 9

The second rug we bought.  It's about 5 x 7.
Dave and I also went out for Valentine's Day.  We went to the British Club (we're members) and listened to live music, had great food, and fun conversation.  It was really nice and a much needed night out for both of us!

Dave enjoying the party.
It was a good turn out and there was dancing!  My fave.

The band!

In an effort to have a relaxing and fun weekend, the kids and I go over to the British Club on Fridays and swim, have lunch, then everyone takes a nap.  On Saturdays Dave joins us for breakfast and a swim.  Sophie still uses floaties while swimming, but we're planning on putting her in swim lessons as soon as they open up.  She loves the water.  Max is less enthused when swimming and would prefer to play at the little playground next to the pool.  However he is doing better about getting in the pool for a bit and hopefully we can get him in swim lessons as well.

That's it for us.  See you next week!
